Make Your Mark

Lori Servies

I created this glittery card for a young lady who is graduating from high school. I selected a cardstock with a simple cross-hatched pattern to layer onto the card base. How could you go wrong with all that pink! I then used a silver-glitter paper and a ribbon with specks of glitter to complement the patterned paper. There are many appropriate quotes and sentiments for graduation so I had a lot from which to choose. I ultimately used “Make your Mark” because it captured the idea of attaining one’s goals. Graduating from high school certainly is the completion of a major life goal. I used the Duetica DT Mandolyn font because it is elegant and also captured the beauty of the young lady for which the card was made.
