Butterfly Poem

This project is a mixed media canvas to showcase one of my favorite poems by Hans Christian Anderson. I wanted something dimensional with lots of texture.  The Duetica Mandolyn font captured the grace of the butterflies beautifully.

SUPPLIES

  • 16″x40″ canvas
  • Paint by Plaid,
  • Glitter cardstock by AC cardstock
  • Wishblade cutter,
  • Assorted beads and jewerly findings,
  • Dew drops by the birds nest.
  • Vintage lace,
  • Mod podge.
  • Duetica Mandolyn font

    Amazing beauty, such grace and elegance. I love your colors and textures it looks as if the butterflies are in flight the Font is amazing ! The shimmer of the background paint is perfect!
    Love it ! I t would look great in my livingroom !
