Messages in a Bottle

Kathy Peterson

Simple but memorable—that’s the whole idea behind any event, especially weddings! So to put a “simple” spin on displaying various vignettes for an upcoming wedding, I thought it would be fun to have each guest send ”messages” and well wishes in a bottle to the bride and groom. I used vintage bottles, brown paper, some twine and Duetica’s Floot font to feel like handwriting. The font has so many alternate forms, it really does look and feel handwritten.

SUPPLIES:
Card stock paper,
brown paper,
blue ink from printer,
double sided tape,
scissors or straight edge cutter,
twine
vintage tableware
Duetica DT Floot font
